ISUZU PLAZA SURPASSES HALF A MILLION VISITORS
ISUZU PLAZA opened its doors in April 2017, located across from the Fujisawa Plant, as part of the commemorative projects marking the 80th anniversary of ISUZU MOTORS. More than just a museum, it has become a hub of innovation, learning, and community engagement.
On January 17, ISUZU MOTORS celebrated a historic milestone as ISUZU PLAZA welcomed its 500,000th visitor since opening in 2017. To mark this achievement, a special ceremony was held honoring the 500,000th guests, the Takeda family from Yokohama. They received a scale model of the Forward truck and complimentary accommodation at a hotel adjacent to the museum.
ISUZU PLAZA is a significant venue that not only showcases the brand’s legacy of excellence in design and technological innovation but also offers visitors hands-on experiences demonstrating how ISUZU vehicles contribute to societal development. ISUZU PLAZA regularly hosts school visits, giving students the opportunity to explore the world of engineering and automotive manufacturing up close.
During the commemorative ceremony, Takayuki Aikawa, Vice President of the Corporate Strategy Division and General Manager of the Public Relations Department, remarked:
“Thanks to the support of so many people, we have reached the major milestone of 500,000 visitors. Looking ahead 10 or even 20 years into the future, we will continue to enhance our exhibits and hands-on programs so that ISUZU PLAZA can remain a place for engagement — connecting our corporate philosophy with solutions to societal challenges — and continue contributing to local communities.”
ISUZU invites those who can travel to Japan not to miss the chance to visit ISUZU PLAZA and experience a little closer to the history and legacy that the brand has left in the world.
We look forward to welcoming you!
