ISUZU REGIONAL SKILLS COMPETITION: LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN 2026
On June 9 and 10, Panama hosted the 2026 ISUZU Regional Technical Skills Competition, bringing together technical service representatives from ISUZU authorized dealers across Latin America and the Caribbean.
The competition represents a cornerstone of ISUZU’s commitment to service excellence and the continuous development of its specialized technical personnel. Throughout the event, participants demonstrated their knowledge and skills in both individual and team challenges, which evaluated their organizational skills, diagnostics, repairs, coordination, problem-solving, and adherence to standardized ISUZU processes.
This year continued the integration of the Service Advisors Competition, recognizing the vital role these professionals play in customer service and the overall experience offered by ISUZU authorized dealers.
The 2026 edition featured representatives from Barbados, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Grenada, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, and the Dominican Republic. The participants demonstrated an outstanding level of preparation, commitment, and professionalism, strengthening the brand’s service network throughout the region.
The Regional Technical Skills Competition aims to elevate the technical expertise of service personnel, providing a platform where participants can showcase their knowledge, share best practices, and reinforce the culture of quality and continuous improvement that defines ISUZU. Through the ongoing training of its technicians and service advisors, the brand reaffirms its commitment to delivering reliable products and services, optimizing turnaround times, and ensuring customer satisfaction in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The winners of each category earned their qualification to represent the region at the ISUZU World Technical Skills Competition I-1 Grand Prix, to be held in Tokyo, Japan.
