Isuzu Latin America & Caribbean division (ILAC) training facilities “DOJO” opened its doors in Miami to work closely with Service Managers and Instructors of the Isuzu authorized dealers to meet their training needs.

Tokyo Ishikawajima Shipbuilding & Engineering produced the Wolseley A9 – The first passenger car made in Japan.

The Wolseley CP is launched and qualified as a military truck by the Japanese government.

1927

Tokyo Ishikawajima Shipbuilding & Engineering ended its tie-up with Wolseley and began manufacturing vehicles 100% of its own design. An early example was the Sumida, chosen name from the Sumida River, where the plant was located.
